| Tiivistelmä: | Econometric forecasts and subjective estimates are often used as proxies for the underlying expectations process. The author develops a framework for evaluating the relative reliability of objective and subjective estimates. It is shown that the lack of ex post conformity between different realizations can be decomposed. The model is estimated in a controlled setting. |
