Tiivistelmä: | The paper examines the contractual relationship between online content providers and consumers. The problem that often arises is that it is difficult for consumers to understand where their rights end and where illegal use of content begins. Specifically the study analyses relevant consumer law issues and lays open the legal uncertainties of the current regimes at the European Community (EC) and national level. To solve this uncertainty problem the Commission recommends thinking how to regulate internet consumer law increasing the amount of consumer rights and taking into consideration other imperfections in the Contract law. As a result an i-consumer contract law should be introduced to each sector and to give a possibility to offer proposals related to contract laws possible content. |
