| Tiivistelmä: | The significance of quality as a competitive factor requires a new understanding of quality at the operational performance and a restructuring of quality assurance systems in research and development as well as production and logistics. Preventive methods of a persistent quality development within the innovation and value adding chain are discussed in the paper and are characterized as part of an overall concept. On the basis of an empirical analysis of 32 companies shortfalls of the practical application are elucidated and proposals are made on how to solve them. |
