| Tiivistelmä: | A procedure for the quantitative assessment of benefits to be derived from information is described. The case of logistics information is analyzed in detail. The relationship between information and goal attainment is explored. The significance of transformation principle is stressed. A parallel is drawn between the abundance of information resources of the company and the degree of goal attainment. A cost-benefit analysis is suggested for the exact evaluation of the company's information base. |
