Tiivistelmä:Given the world wide predomonance of the small to medium sized enterprise (SME) one should consider whether one need to segment and target the marketing knowledge, practice and attitudes towards this business type. It is argued in the paper that one needs to be able to develop entrepreneurship within the context of marketing, and marketing withing the context of entrepreneurship in order that one is able to understand fully the most common of business forms - the small firm.
