| Tiivistelmä: | This article focuses on the recreation (hereafter as: rec.) of managed forests. Six sites on the Oregon State Universitys research forest were evaluated for an 11-year period to examine the changes in hiking and camping quality after the forest had been harvested. The findings indicate an improvement in rec. rates over time. It was found that rec. quality differs from scenic quality though they were related, and that different rec. activies may require different solutions. |
