| Tiivistelmä: | Body Shop (later named Soapworks) was founded in Easterhouse, near Glasgow in an area without facilities and with a staff lacking previous experiment and of different background. Soapworks will employ 100 people and spend 25 % of its profits on the area. Two weeks of training helped to mould 16 employees into a team. Budgeting is seemingly casual, but has been revised many times: Body Shop is intended to invest its revenues. Allowing all company staff time for community work made the company more attractive for the employees and enabled it to keep them. Making products in all the sizes the customers want as well as high quality of soap is a key issue. |
