| Tiivistelmä: | This paper aims at seeking to address the way in which knowledge (here as: knw.) is being transmitted among the members of a large corporation, suggesting a realistic strategy that promises to be most appropriate for effective knowledge transfer (as: KT) in the new knw. economy. Using an in-depth case study of KT strategies used in a UK-based group within a high-tech global corporation, the paper suggests a hybrid strategy recognizing the interplay between the soft and hard mechanisms, falling somewhere btw. the rather divergent mechanisms. |
