Tiivistelmä:The present study investigated the relationship of popular music preferences to individual differences in social judgements and to personality characteristics. Heavy metal fans were higher in Machiavellianism and machismo and lower in need for cognition than non-fans. Punk rock fans were less accepting of authority than non-fans. further, they also inclined to crime more than did non-fans.
