| Tiivistelmä: | The development of electronics and communications will have an important influence on information systems in banks and the economy in general in the future.It will enable product and service life cycles to be shortened while allowing further automation of data and faster information exchange.Slovenian banks are already part of some modern information systems and international standards, such as the SWIFT banking system, within which more and more standardized messages are used.A wider integration of information systems is to be achieved in the near future, linking various bank departments together.This is very important for Slovenian banks, as it enables them to participate more actively in the international financial market. |
