| Tiivistelmä: | The important changes in the postwar world economy has led to an evolution and to a diversification of the criteria of effectiveness in international economic relations.In accordance with the systems theory and the theory of social choice, the problem is presented in triple terms: a) the traditional one, which includes the multiple criteria, applied in the foreign economic policy on national level; b) the new one, which appeared in the formation of large integrated spaces and c) the modified GATT rules transformed in the WTO rules.The phenomena of European Union, of NAFTA and of APEC are analysed, together with the situation in Central and East Europe and in developing countries in the post cold-war period. |
