| Tiivistelmä: | The Japanese have been highly regarded for their economic miracle over the past decade. This is evident from the recent appreciation of japanese yen. In 1992, the Japanese government tried in vain to maintain the exchange rate level of US 1 dollar to 190 yen. On 22 February 1993, the yen touched a record high of 116.85. The author has considered the theory called "Dynamic comparative advantage" developed by contemporary economists. |
