Tiivistelmä:Research in organizational theory and strategic management posits that perceived need for change is a key driver of strategic decisions to implement CIM technology. The objective of this study is to examine the relationship between the perceived need for strategic change (investing in a technological innovation) and the degree of success in its implementation, and to evaluate the extent to which compatibility of the innovation, and the attitude an adopting organization holds toward it, moderate the linkage between need for change and implementation success.
