| Tiivistelmä: | To develop a deeper understanding of JIT , a comparison was developed between logistics managers (members of the Council of Logistics Management) and manufacturing managers (members of the APICS Repetitive Manufacturing Specific Industry Group). Results indicate that there are significant differences concerning the components of JIT and the results of JIT programs. Significant similarities were found that can be used to connect the different functions to better provide a continuous improvement system for the entire logistics channel. |
