Tiivistelmä:In the article the author discusses the differences between the contract of employment as the ground for labour relation and other contracts whose subject is just as well contractual labour of people.The differentiation is important mainly because of its classification - either a contract of civil law or a contract of labour law.The central part of the author's discussion is consecrate to the discussion of special distinctive marks between the contract of employment and labour contract, contract of mandate, contract of substitution, contract of representation, contract of mediation, and contract of partnership.Besides these traditional contract he discusses also the so called management contract, where the subject of the contract is also work and has not its permanent and/or traditionally accepted name and is most often a mixed and/or a combined contract.Taking into consideration all the differences and similarities with these contract the author concludes, that it is possible to classify the employment contract as a special kind of contract in labour law.
