| Tiivistelmä: | From the viewpoint of the protection of employees the expiration of a labour contract isa very delicate question.The currently effective vregulation does not regulate this question in accordance with the contractual nature of labour relation, but still on the ground of mutual labour relation.The regulation under comparative law shows extreme standardization of this question mainly arising from the protection of employees.Therefore the author gives a comprehensive presentation of comparative legal regulation and various theoretic views on the expiration of a labour contract.Further on, when he states that it would be appropriate to follow the example of positive legal regulation of the cessation of labour relation with private employers, he presents in detail his thoughts as to what should the future legal regulation, adjusted to the two-track labour relation and contractual nature of the cessation of labour relation, be like. |
