| Tiivistelmä: | The concern for protection of individual's information privacy was raised in the fast few years as a very important question and special precondition also with regard to functioning of some international integration, This article deals with the contents of the EU Directive on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data from the point of view of comparison between this document and Slovenian legislation (de fege lata and de lege ferenda).The Directive is potentially very important for Slovenia, especially regarding our aspiration for fulf membership accession to European Union.The author in his article presents some solutions in the field of data privacy - legislative and practical solutions - especially those which should be changed i.e. modified according to the EU Directive demands. |
