| Tiivistelmä: | An automated storage/retrieval systems (AS/RS) is an essential component of a flexible manufacturing system. The maximal benefits of such a system depends upon the optimal warehouse design and the optimal scheduling of pallet assignment, storage assignment and interleaving. This paper proposes a framework for the dual command cycle continuous travel time model under class-based assignment. The ABC distribution is incorporated into the model as the inventory turnover function. |
