| Tiivistelmä: | In a December 1995 article in Financial Executive, Robert Falconi characterised openbook management as the latest business fad, probably - like quality circles, rightsizing, or reengineering - deserving of an equally skeptical response from financial executives. He recounted his frustrations in trying to teach others about finance and accounting and felt that trusting employees with financial information was imprudent and not worth the risk. More than just a fad, OBM is attracting interest from open-minded firms seeking innovative ways to confront fierce competitive pressures. |
