| Tiivistelmä: | This report focuses on the developments in the Republic of Congo and the situation in Nigeria and Angola. In the first part the report provides differences between the Republic of Congo and the Democratic Republic of Congo and factors contributing to the economic growth of the nation. In the next section the paper focuses on the economic conditions in Nigeria. It appeals for a massive inflow of foreign direct investments, elaboration of major obstacles to investment and investors and the efforts of the government in overcoming investment problems. The next sections focus on foreign direct investments in Angola and a call for United Nation member countries to deny port access to Liberian-flagged vessels. |
