Tiivistelmä: | Ethical dilemmas may emerge when making decision that may benefit other stakeholders at the expense of others. This article studies ethical sensitivity regarding the duties to clients and owners, employees, and responsibilities to society, by comparing female and male managers in USA and Turkey. The results indicate that ethical sensitivity varies depending upon whether the interests of principals, agents, and third parties are influenced by an ethical dilemma. Also, contingent upon the principal-agent-society relationships, the nationality and gender of the decision-maker influences ethical sensitivity. |
