| Tiivistelmä: | This article attempts to construct an indicator of productivity by examining production and employment in Spain, both of which are greatly influenced by tourism. The paper analyzes patterns of tourism behaviour regarding regional differences and similarities during the last decades. During this period, Spain has become a world tourism power and should now face the multiple challenges arising from a changing situation in the world economy. |
