| Tiivistelmä: | This investigates differences in the perceived performance and competitiveness of UK SMEs that are engaged in regular in comparison to sporadic activities in overseas markets. Results from a postal survey and subsequent interviews establish that a number of differences exist between the two groups of firms and recommendations are proposed for policy makers when assisting managers in their internationalisation decisions. |
