| Tiivistelmä: | Information that the carrier can utilise in hiring owner-operators who are acceptable performers is examined and the effect of performance on turnover, that is,whether the owner-operators who make a positive contribution to the organization are the same individuals who are most likely to stay with the organization,is investigated. In order to do the appropriate analysis to address these questions,information from the personnel records of owner-operators under a permanent lease agreement to a carrier is examined in terms of its potential relevance to performance and turnover. |
