| Tiivistelmä: | The strategic role of management development is examined. The approach is based on recent theoretical and empirical accounts, mainly from the U.S. The experiences are gained from THORN-EMI Home Electronics.It is concluded that management development as a strategy has an important role in promoting organizational success, in developing individual and organizational effectiveness, and in differentiating the quality of a company and its people from competing organisations. |
