| Tiivistelmä: | Various structures of the project selection problem with discrete multiattribute utility are reviewed, namely with a utility function that cannot be measured on a continuous scale. References to the features of the problem such as interrelationships among projects, number of combinations, uncertainty, hierarchical structure, resource allocation constraints, group decisions and assumptions on the utility function are included. Applications of the approach in various areas are also discussed and types of models are formulated and analyzed. Directions for future research are suggested. |
