Important facets trade missions provide are listed. Government reports providing some insight into the usefulness of missions to exporters are examined. A comparison is presented about firms using and not using missions on foreign markets. The research methodology is described. Management orientation is analyzed. Market entry preparation is described, market entry decisions are examined. Differences in managerial and behavioral dimensions are identified. Implications for export marketing management are discussed.
