| Tiivistelmä: | The assessment-centre technique is now used as an instrument for personnel selection and development, as well as the detection of management potential. This technique provides indicators of both the strengths and weaknesses of those under consideration. It needs, however, to be developed further so that a valid simulation of real management situations would be possible. This development has materialized in the form of a one-week behavior game. Such an AC game is positioned, from the angle of methodology and aim, between the traditional behavior games (e.g. for self-recognition aims, analysis of group-processes) and enterprise planning games. |
