| Tiivistelmä: | It is no longer possible to undertake strategic corporate planning without including the "political" noncommercial risks. This has an utmost importance in dealing with foreign market operations. The main elements of an effective professional risk management are examined. Risks factors are identified. An ample list of noncommercial investment risk is given. Several trends of world economy are investigated in relation to risk taking. Risks originated from changing state regulations, protectionism, international military and economic conflicts etc. are analyzed. Some conclusions are drawn for the practitioners to support their investment and withdrawal decisions. |
