| Tiivistelmä: | Concerned about a sudden drift in purchase prices from one year to another,distinctly more important then anticipated,a large industrial concern asked a group of researchers to examine the case. The report prepared called into question the nature of difference between "good management" and "pathological management". After a debate whether its conclusions should be published,the report was eventually barred out by the company. As the researchers pointed out,the rise in purchase prices was due to the introduction of an imperfect purchase management system which was supposed to function in any circumstances,but being not enough flexible,failed. |
