| Tiivistelmä: | An examination of main and interactive explanations of the effects of assembly line work on job satisfaction, absence and mental health, using a sample of women operators. Use of an empirical study in assembly-line work evaluation, confirming previous findings for men on job satisfaction. Those who felt their job denied them opportunities to use their abilities. An interpretation of daydreaming. No moderating role was found for social support in the dependent variables. Four Tables and a Figure are given. |
