| Tiivistelmä: | The problem of scheduling jobs on parallel machines is studied with setup times. All machines are identical and have a fixed processing capacity. Each job belongs to a certain job type, and job types with similar operations are grouped into job families. Jobs of the same type might have different rewards and processing times. The reward and processing time for each job is given. The problem is to find a feasible schedule for each machine which maximizes the total reward. |
