| Tiivistelmä: | The out-of-pocket costs and the value of all the circulating information and data in the global information system of a company are enormous. Estimates are provided which tell how much a company pays for data needed to its operations. The problem of data quality is examined. A concept of data logistics is outlined. It is shown that using properly devised data logistics a company can minimize the costs of data necessary to match also the quality requirements. Four steps leading to a successful data logistics are described. |
