Tiivistelmä: | The Statchi and Statchi advertising company, strictly controlling costs, collecting from clients on the dot and paying the media late, was the first to make money out of money rather than advertisements. Satchi used the bull market of the mid-1980s, when the tide of government advertising floated a hundred advertising groups. By grabbing these opportunities the Staatchis did all of the advertisement companies a favour. The big four multi-agency groups remain unassailed at the top of the advertising league. Meanwhile, advertising agencies are becoming communication agencies. Then on-ad components of marketing including public relations and sales promotion are steadily growing in importance. |
