| Tiivistelmä: | The relatively shrinking of agricultural production, especially grain production is the important factor restricting China's economic development at the turn of the century. It will even likely affect China's political and economic pattern during the 21 century. The major problems facing China's agricultural development are the insufficient input in agriculture, the reducing arable land , slow progress in sci-tech development and the dropping income of farmers. However the in-depth reason for them is the imperfection of China's economic system. Therefore agricultural development is still the foundation of the situation as a whole, which is commonly recognized by the leadership, and the rank and file. |
