| Tiivistelmä: | China's food supply is facing the grave challenge of an unbalanced total output and structure. This is directly because of decrease of cultivated land and the planting area, relatively low profits, insufficient input in farming the small-scope and wasteful running of peasants. The deep reason lies in the to large rural population. In the long run, the only way out is to boost the formation of rural population and extra rural laborers into nonrural population. In the short run, the main task in to further popularize the "rice-sack" responsibility system of provincial governors. |
