| Tiivistelmä: | The shortage of water resources is the main factor restricting Gansu province's national economic development. So economising on water is a basic strategic measure to solve the problem of shortage of water and explore rationally water resources. The main ways for Gansu to economise on water are as follows: 1. regulation of and control over water sources, 2.adopting the advanced and practical irrigation technology, 3.pursuing the system of scientific water-saving irrigation, 4. introducing the foreign advanced technology, such as sprinkling irrigation technology, automated irrigation technology, and water- saving irrigation equipment, drip irrigation production line equipment as well as theory on irrigation and management expertise. |
