| Tiivistelmä: | After the industrial revolution, agriculture has shifted from a large sector to a small one. It manifests itself as follows: The share of agriculture and the number of the employed are declining resulting in the increase of the per capita income and labour productivity at the same time. But the trend of agriculture's becoming a small sector doesn't mean that its relationship with other sectors is weakened and its aggregate has declined absolutely. Therefore, to adapt to this trend, it is imperative to take joint action including accelerating technological substitution, realising scale business operation, controlling the total population and implementing protective industrial policy. |
