| Tiivistelmä: | North China and northeast China are the main corn-producing areas in China. The great fluctuation of output of the main corn-producing provinces can exert great influence on the supply and prices of corn markets nationwide and China's international corn trade as well. As China's corn output is mainly affected by weather, market supply and demand and price, it is more difficult to solve the problem of output fluctuation only depending on domestic market. Therefore adjustment through the international market is needed. Concretely-speaking, the central government should have no control over the import and export of corn and allow the producing and marketing areas to participate in the international trade according to their own needs. |
