| Tiivistelmä: | First it is only when the agricultural labor productivity remains high, can we, after providing people with the essential goods, have surplus resources and potentialities to supply the other sectors of national economy. Second, 80 per cent of China's population are in the rural areas, so if we cannot keep the sustained development of agriculture, there will be no market for the articles of trade, which will lead to the dull of sale. Third, the vast rural areas of the central and western parts of China are the ecological defense for the eastern plains and cities. If the economy in these areas cannot kept prosperous, China's sustained development will be greatly affected. In addition, agricultural industrialization is the only way for China to realize its high agricultural development. |
