| Tiivistelmä: | The organizational aspects of creating the necessary environment,support and structure to restructure biological information and knowledge are discussed. Possible approaches to developing, testing and validating models are presented,in the context of the new initiative of the Agricultural Research Service to emphasize systems research using large interdisciplinary teams. A six-objective Program Plan and,on this basis,four implementation strategies set by the Agricultural Research Service are discussed. It is suggested that the main conditions of the implementation are the right combination of people and the right environment. |
