Tiivistelmä:Most employee involvement - from suggestion systems to quality circles and self-managed teams - are targeted toward production workers. This bypasses many groups, primarily white-collar staff and support personnel. Extensive field research on the use of affinity groups suggests that this approach can help an organization gain greater benefits from involvement programs. These groups, composed of individuals with similar titles and responsibilities , meet periodically to share information and address common problems.
