| Tiivistelmä: | Influenced by the state's policies, the trends of coal market in 1995 were that the raw coal output amounted to 1.33 billion tons, up 7% over last year, the supply and demand of coal were basically balanced, but the sources of goods in East China and Northeast China were slightly short. In 1996, the coal production will fall, to some extent, compared with that in recent two years. It is estimated that its growth rate will stand at 4.5% or so. The coal consumption will maintain a stable growth with an estimated consumption of 1.46 billion tons. But the increase margin of consumption will be not wider than before. The export volume of coal will be 40 million tons, up 25%. The price of coal will rise within stability and will not fluctuate greatly under the state's intervention. |
