Tiivistelmä:Since the 1990s, the commercial development in Shanghai has undergone two stages, i.e, quantity-stressing stage (1990 to 1995) and quality-stressing stage (1996 up to now) In the latter stage, the operational model is being shifted. The major new ones are as follows: 1. booming commercial districts and streets to form shopping paradise; 2. conducting chain business to achieve scale benefits; 3. stressing quality authentication and standardizing service, 4. introducing international capital to promote industrial development; 5. expanding the markets outside Shanghai and establishing Changjiang commercial corridor; 6. perfecting information network and popularizing commercial automation; 7. developing trade markets to pull production with circulation.
