| Tiivistelmä: | This article contributes to the discussion around the concept of entrepreneurship (henceforth as: e-ship.) as judgement. The entrepreneurial judgement approach emphasizes the entrepreneur's role as the organizer of capital assets. In the paper, this view is broadened through looking into the ways in which entrepreneur-owners exercising original judgement, delegate decision rights to employees, who in turn exercise derived judgement, in this paper called for "proxy entrepreneurs". This article seeks for ways to harness a firm's organizational structure to encourage derived judgement, and based on e-ship. literature, Austrian economics and the economic theory of the firm, presented is a framework for analysing "proxy entrepreneurship". |
