| Tiivistelmä: | The purpose of the paper is to thoroughly examine the theory by Campbell (2007) which explores the conditions that determine the socially responsible or socially irresponsible actions of corporations. A total of 520 financial firms in different countries are studied, between the years 2003 and 2005. The goal is to create a better understanding of whether corporate social responsibility is affected by financial and institutional variables. |
