| Tiivistelmä: | Great importance is attached nowadays to the protection and safeguarding of information. In general, the experience gained in this respect and the problems are applicable not only for office-type, but also for mobile computers. In addition, due to its high degree of mobility, the laptop gives rise to further problems with regard to protection and safety. The most important risk factors are examined. Some selected security concepts are explained. The security of office automation systems against crime is considered. Special potential security threats for laptops are highlighted. Some security objectives are identified. A number of recommendations are made for protective measures. |
