Tiivistelmä:1. The supporting point of unbalanced regional economic growth has been shifted. The eight provinces growing fastest are all in the southeastern coastal areas. Their total industrial output value accounts for half of the country's. 2. The trans-regional flow of production factors tends to be active. Production factors are gathering towards economically-developed areas with high income rate and diverting to less-developed areas with low cost. 3. The economic coordination and cooperation between regions have been strengthened. For instance, under the unified planning, the trans-provincial and trans-regional infrastructure like energy and transportation have been developed. 4. The regional policy is focusing on promoting the development of less developed areas.
