| Tiivistelmä: | China is prevented from rejoining GATT due to some political and economic reasons. So China should take the following strategic countermeasures: On one hand, to reach the fixed goal, China will still make great efforts, such as strengthening its national strength, deepening reform, opening much wider to the outside world and developing foreign economic and trade relations in line with multilateral world trade standards in a bid to join the world trade organization as soon as possible; on the other hand, China should give full play to its superiorities in position, like a large trade nation, fast economic development and having a big internal market, and formulate its own industrial policies and implement necessary tariff and non-tariff measures according to its own national situation and the need of economic development. |
