| Tiivistelmä: | This paper examines the effects of the adoption of the Euro as the common currency in Europe on the investment rates of companies. The authors find that the Euro has increased investments for companies from countries that previously had weak currencies, the Euro has had a positive effect on the investments on financially constrained companies, and the Euro has decreased investments for financially unconstrained companies from countries that previously had strong currencies. |
